beads and braids

My friend Sonia Jones makes the cutest bracelets! I am so in love with them. You have to check them out and if anyone is interested in purchasing one you can email her or you can find them on etsy.

Today at my salon we had a product knowledge class by Glop & Glam. The products were made specifically for young kids, but they're actually great for the whole family. The goal of G&G hair products is to create safe, versatile products with fun, child-friendly fragrances such as bubble-gum, chocolate, banana, watermelon and creamsicle (Mmmmm). The products are alcohol, paraben, sulfate, formaldehyde and even gluten free! Glop & Glam also combines organic ingredients to help protect the hair from damaging environmental toxins.
I just thought this line was so fun and fresh, geared towards something different that I wanted to share. So check out some of their products at a store or salon near you. Enjoy!

Happy Monday

Ombre- a French word meaning gradation of tone. Which refers to the dark-to-light fade of color. Instead of color that starts at the root, darker roots blend into a lightened mid-shaft and end. BAM!
